Interacting particle systems with kinetic constraints or facilitation are stochastic processes which, after being introduced to model the glass transition, turned out to be a fantastic source of mathematical challenges. A central problem in their out-of-equilibrium study is to understand how activity propagates, persists and/or is extinguished. Those are particularly delicate questions in the absence of monotony properties or for systems with several phases. This projects aims to explore these themes, in connection with other models presenting similar phenomena. We thereby hope to develop new tools for the study of interacting particle systems on lattices.
