Welcome in Paris


If you are a mathematics student in a university outside of France and you wish to take advantage of an international programme (for example Erasmus) to come and study at Sorbonne-Université for 6 months or 1 year, these web pages are intended to give you some pedagogical advice to help you fill in the learning agreement that you must attach to your application.
Please note that everything concerning the strictly administrative aspects of your application must be handled according to the procedures provided by your current university.
Note that as a general rule, the language used in lectures is FRENCH. Level of French required: B2 in the TCF (Test de Connaissance en Français), TEF (Test d'Evaluation de Français) or CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).


You will find below some basic rules for completing your learning agreement, depending on the diploma you will obtain at the end of the academic year (click on the corresponding link)


If the degree you will be preparing during your stay in Paris is at L3 level and

a) you come for the first semester (fall/winter term) of the academic year
b) you come for the second semester (spring/summer term) of the academic year
c) you come for the whole academic year


- The degree you will be preparing during your stay in Paris is at M1 level and

a) you come for the first semester (fall/winter term) of the academic year
b) you come for the second semester (spring/summer term) of the academic year
c) you come for the whole academic year


- The degree you will be preparing during your stay in Paris is at M2 level
